Mission:

The purpose of this project is to express the quintessential idea that a good book deserves the opportunity to be read and passed on.  A book has life and that life is grown by the people who read it.

How it Works:

All of the books on our shelves are free to be taken, read, and passed on.  We have them divided into various categories from children’s books, young adult and adult fiction and non-fiction.

While you don’t need to donate books in order to take books, we encourage you to help us support literacy projects in Skokie and in developing libraries and education programs in Africa. Share what you’ve read with others.
